Quick Answers:
Who are the best students?
Simply put, the best students are those who are serious about learning taxidermy the right way, and are not afraid to put in the time and effort to do so. Your reward is that after learning our methods, you will be able to go home, charge a fair price for your work, and guarantee every mount for life. The best students are also those who take the initiative to browse our site. When a prospective student browses our site before calling or emailing us with their questions, we can tell, and we are impressed with their efforts. We always look forward to working with these types of individuals because we know that they will make an effort in class as well.
How much does your taxidermy course cost?
Tuition for our Six Week All Inclusive Training Course is $4,995. Tuition includes Everything, from specimens & tools, down to notebooks and pens for taking notes! Your only extra expenses will be for travel, meals, and housing. You get to keep everything you mount, giving you a great showroom from the start! If you add up what it would cost to have all of your class projects mounted by your local taxidermist, factor in the cost of the hides and skins, then add the fact that you're getting a great education on top of it, you'll see that our tuition price is extremely reasonable! For those of you who have financial limitations or time restrictions, you may want to consider our Six-Day Economy Courses, which run from $1,095 to $1195 per course. Please see our Tuition page for more details.

Why should I choose ATTC over all the other taxidermy schools?
This is a very common question, and we always have the same response....In order to honestly critique another school's curriculum and instructors, we would need to attend their program first hand. We are conscientious professionals, who put our effort in providing you with an education that will prepare you for your new taxidermy career.....period! We are not in the business of making assumptions about the training programs of other schools. What we can say, is that we have been teaching for over 20 years, our training is up to date & very detailed, and our graduates are very successful. In fact, four of our graduates even have their own schools now! So please take the time to research our site, check our references, and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have!
As a Veteran, what is the first step I need to take?
Your first step would be to go to the website www.gibill.va.gov and click on the "Apply for Benefits" section. Once this has been processed, you will receive a letter of eligibility. When you have your letter of eligibility you can then contact us to discuss enrollment and which course you would like to attend. Once you enroll for a particular class, we will then fill out the necessary form to send into VA.
With the new Chapter 33 rules in place, more veterans may now be eligible for complete tuition payment. For chapter 33 only, VA will pay us directly for your tuition cost, and you will likely receive a stipend for housing & food. After we receive your tuition payment from the VA, your enrollment fee will immediately be reimbursed to you.
